The House of Liminal Lessons. Cross. Unlearn. Become.

Lessons From The Liminal Moments Of Life

We remember the drive to the hospital more clearly than the news itself. The week before the wedding was more vivid than the vows. The boxes half-packed in an empty apartment more than the day we finally closed the new front door behind us.

Psychology might call this stress-encoding, or recency. I think it’s something else. I think we remember those moments because they’re the only ones where we weren’t performing a version of ourselves yet. The old identity had already started to loosen. The new one hadn’t hardened into place. What was left, for a little while, was just us… unrehearsed.

liminal lessons

If you’ve always been a little hard to place, too deep for casual conversations or too restless for easy answers… this space is for you.

Here, you learn to confront yourself. To think, see, and feel differently than when you first arrived.

You move from vague self-awareness to precise self-understanding.

Liminal Lessons is an evolving archive of life lived in the liminal moments- not meant to be read once, but returned to. It aims to translate the terrain between who we were and who we’re becoming into whatever form the lesson calls for: essays, poetry, reflections, or sometimes, an unfinished letter.

If you recognize yourself here… welcome

Explore The House of Liminal Lessons

In the house of liminal lessons, you are not simply held as you are, but what you are begins to dissolve.

This is not a self-help blog that gives you quick fixes or hot takes on fleeting trends. It is not a place for fast healing or delusions dressed as transformation.

There is nothing safe about meeting your true nature. There is nothing soft about burning away the identities we wear to become someone more real.

This is a space for those thirsty for self-confrontation. For those willing to see clearly and to be changed by it. If you seek aesthetics or current trends without depth…

This path is not for you.

Let your mind chew on these…

Hell’s Little Candle

You don’t find light in heaven, darkness in hell; for that is the very base of their existence. You don’t find goodness in saints— they are the embodiment of that very quality.
So by effect, goodness can only be “found” in places you don’t expect — monsters perhaps.
This begs the question, if monsters have goodness in them…
Are they really evil?

Eyes: the Window To the Soul

You never know whose eyes the Creator is looking at you through. It’s not always who you think it is—every hand that needs help, every smile that feels like peace, every tear that is shed.
That must be God watching you.
How do you remember God? In turn, how do you honor God?
How do you honor yourself?
