A FREE HOUSE INSTRUMENT
The Liminal Self-Audit Kit
For when something in your life no longer fits, but you cannot yet tell what is ending, what remains yours, or what actually needs to change.
A guided set of five instruments for locating yourself within a period of identity transition.
Begin Here if…
- something in your life still works on paper but no longer feels entirely yours;
- you feel between versions of yourself;
- an identity, relationship, rhythm, belief, or ambition seems to be loosening;
- you keep wanting to make a dramatic decision simply to escape uncertainty;
- or you have done plenty of self-reflection but still cannot tell what actually deserves your attention.
What The Liminal Self-Audit Kit Helps You See
The Self-Audit is designed to help you notice where change is actually taking place, rather than treating your whole life as one indistinct feeling of uncertainty.
It can help you see:
- which parts of your life still feel coherent and genuinely yours;
- where discomfort, contradiction, or disconnection is concentrated;
- what may be inherited, habitual, or adaptive rather than consciously chosen;
- which identities, roles, relationships, rhythms, or ambitions may be loosening;
- and what deserves closer observation before you rush to fix, abandon, or reinvent anything.
You do not need to emerge with a new identity. For now, the task is simpler: to see more clearly where you are standing.
Inside The Kit
A short diagnostic threshold quiz to help you identify which part of the liminal process you may be moving through right now. Return to it whenever life feels unclear, disorienting, or newly in-between.
A visual scorecard of six areas of your life, helping you notice where your attention and energy are concentrated, which chambers feel alive, and which may have been quietly neglected. Designed to be revisited as your inner landscape changes.
A Liminal Lexicon with a small vocabulary of House terms. For experiences that are often easier to feel than to name, giving you a shared language for navigating Liminal Lessons and your own thresholds.
Carefully sequenced worksheet prompts designed to move beneath your first, automatic answers and help you notice patterns, contradictions, assumptions, and insights for yourself.
A letter to help you enter the practice gently, without turning uncertainty into another problem to solve or rushing toward conclusions before they are ready.
Keep the Kit and return to it whenever another threshold appears.
What The Audit Is Designed To Reveal
The Liminal Self-Audit Kit is not designed to tell you who you should become. Its purpose is quieter: to help you distinguish where change is actually happening from the general feeling that everything is uncertain.
As you move through it, you may begin to notice:
- which parts of your life still feel steady, meaningful, and recognisably yours;
- where your attention, energy, or inner life has become uneven;
- which roles, beliefs, ambitions, relationships, or ways of living may have begun to loosen;
- what you may be carrying out of habit, inheritance, expectation, or adaptation rather than conscious choice;
- where contradiction exists between what you say you want and how you are actually living;
- and what may need observation, curiosity, or care before it needs a decision.
You do not need to finish the Audit with a new identity, a five-year plan, or a dramatic answer. Sometimes clarity begins with something much smaller: knowing what is changing, what is not, and where your attention belongs next.
